A RESOLUTION
1- 1 Commending the 1995 Georgia Winners; and for other purposes.
1- 2 WHEREAS, the 1995 Georgia Winners have shown a selfless and 1- 3 generous attitude in building a better future for Georgia; 1- 4 and
1- 5 WHEREAS, they have demonstrated initiative in ways that 1- 6 positively impact the community; and
1- 7 WHEREAS, they bring credit to their communities and are 1- 8 exemplary models of community service and leadership; and
1- 9 WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that Mr. Deacon 1-10 Balliew of Calhoun, Mr. Jim Boyd of Madison, Mr. Harry 1-11 Blazer of Roswell, Ms. Carolyn Riles Brown of Hinesville, 1-12 Reverend Bob Burell of Mableton, Ms. Elizabeth Coes of 1-13 Unadilla, Ms. Alice Conway of Sylvester, Mr. Gene Crawford 1-14 of Ellijay, Ms. Alene Crawford of Ellijay, Ms. Betty 1-15 Davenport of Cherry Log, Mr. James Donaldson of Waycross, 1-16 Mr. Glenn Dorsey of Abbeville, Mr. Eugene Elmore of Sautee, 1-17 Mr. Johnny Griffith of Duluth, Mr. Alison Hayes of Winder, 1-18 Mr. Dick Jackson of Monroe, Mr. Billy Joe Lewis of 1-19 Thomasville, Mr. Jerry Loftin of Manchester, Ms. Julie Mills 1-20 of Conyers, Ms. Rose Robbins of Columbus, Mr. Frank Ruzycki 1-21 of Pine Mountain, Mr. Billy Sheridan of Winder, Ms. Louise 1-22 Sheridan of Marsville, Mr. Don Smith of Cochran, Ms. Lessie 1-23 Smithgall of Gainesville, Mr. Bob Stiles of Rossville, and 1-24 Mr. Hal Williams, Jr., of Dahlonega be recognized for their 1-25 many accomplishments and contributions to the communities of 1-26 the State of Georgia.
1-27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the 1-28 members of this body commend the 1995 Georgia Winners for 1-29 their outstanding public service and express to them their 1-30 appreciation and gratitude.
1-31 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is 1-32 authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of 1-33 this resolution to each of the above-named 1995 Georgia 1-34 Winners.
